So, keeping a list of serial numbers and proof of ownership is a headache. What's worse, is it's hard to keep it up to date, you run out of paper, you lose it.

The solution, a website which maintains minimal identity details of you, and stores your items photos/receipt scans.

The aim of this is for you to have a reference where no one can identify you, so in worst case scenario, someone breaks into the server. All they will be able to get is your email address and a unique client number, with no relation to your street address or location.

As a final step of this system, is to plug in with insurance companies. You can just offer them your unique ID to link to your insurance policy which allows you to list everything in one safe and secure off-site location.
